Scott joined Mosher & Ellis in 2000. He graduated with a M.S. degree in Finance from Golden Gate University and B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, International Business, and Banking from San Francisco State University. Scott holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, and is a registered representative of American Investors Company. Scott became an MFA partner in 2018, is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA®) and has served as President of a local Toastmasters International club.
Scott has spoken to the public on various financial planning issues, and his daily MFA responsibilities include meeting with clients, completing investment and allocation research on 401k and other retirement plan choices, account processing, and analysis and research for financial planning projects.
Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked with a pension consulting firm establishing retirement plans, such as 401k plans, for businesses and performing ongoing plan compliance. He also prepared individual tax returns for three years.
When not working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, coaching and playing soccer, surfing around the world especially warm tropical waters, and traveling internationally and domestically.
